What is the Fáilte Ireland F&B 360° support? 

F&B 360° is a strategic leadership support designed by Fáilte Ireland to assist owners, general managers and F&B leaders in hotels & visitor attractions tostrengthen their performance, increase profitability and future-proof their F&B operations to meeting changing consumer needs. 

Why should my business participate in F&B360?

F&B 360° is designed to help senior leaders and their F&B teams strengthen commercial F&B performance. This will be achieved through providing expert support to facilitate co-creation of a tailored business roadmap focusing on key strategic priorities to drive meaningful change to improve F&B performance.
F&B 360° is a bespoke, flexible support to suit your individual business needs.  

Who is F&B 360 for? 

F&B360 is designed for General Managers and F&B leaders in Irish hotels and attractions. Whether your F&B operation is a key revenue driver or a challenging cost centre, F&B 360⁰ is about helping the GM and the F&B management team  review strategic priorities and strengthen their F&B offering for improved commercial performance. 

How do I apply?

Our Expression of Interest will be open between 29th October – 19th November 2025. The link can be found on the Business Support Hub F&B support page: F&B 360° .  Places are limited so we advise you to apply early to avoid disappointment.

Who is eligible to apply?

Our eligibility criteria are as follows and these questions form part of our Expression of Interest form;

  1. Need to be a registered hotel or established visitor attraction in the Republic of Ireland with an in-house F&B offering
  2. Must be the business owner or GM that signs up to lead the programme and the F&B management team of the business
  3. Consider F&B as an important revenue stream which accounts for;
    1. Hotel: minimum 20% of total revenue
    2. Visitor attraction: minimum 10% of total revenue
  4. Need to have a dedicated manager with responsibility and overall accountability for F&B Operations and performance

What are the time commitments required for a business signing up for the F&B 360⁰ support?

The Owner or GM needs to lead the programme and the F&B team’s participation over 12-18 months. We estimate the following commitment to ensure your business achieves on its goals;

  • To dedicate an estimated 2.5 hours per month or a total 30 hours of GM time to F&B 360⁰ over 12-18 months.
  • Ensure the full F&B team dedicate an estimated 4 hours per month or 50 hours divided across all staff members to participation on F&B 360⁰ over 12-18 months. This involves attending relevant clinics, recommended 2 hr masterclasses and following up on agreed actions.

What if my business is part of a group structure?

In this instance, each individual property will need to submit a separate EOI as the F&B 360⁰ programme supports will be tailored to each individual property and the owner/GM and F&B team.

After I send an Expression of Interest, what are the next steps?

The Fáilte Ireland team will review the Expression of Interest form and will contact you to confirm whether a place on the programme is being offered. If successful, the owner or GM will be asked to review and sign the F&B 360⁰ Programme Agreement.

What is a Programme Agreement?

The Programme Agreement is an agreement between Fáilte Ireland and the tourism business which signifies both Fáilte Ireland’s commitment and the business’ commitment to the F&B360 programme. The programme agreement will need to be reviewed and signed by the GM or business owner on the Fáilte Ireland trade portal.

How does F&B360 actually work?

F&B 360⁰ is a bespoke, multi-phase programme tailored to your business size, structure and goals. The programme begins with a one-to-one F&B Resilience Survey, which will generate a tailored report outlining your business’s current resilience profile. Next, you’ll have an assessment review call with an expert business advisor, focused on developing a tailored commercial roadmap for your business. There is then a series of online clinics and masterclasses offered to support skills development and action planning among the F&B team. Along the journey, you and your F&B team will have access to expert tools and practical resources as part of the programme.
